47-year-old Anis Billary was walking home after buying Boledo on April 11th when she was knocked down from behind. She lost consciousness and had to be rushed to the hospital. While her injuries weren't life threatening, Billary has suffered a great deal of pain, and is also suffering from an overload of medical bills.
But Billary knows the person who hit her - it was Brian Audinett, better known as Yellowman. She said that she has been behind him for financial assistance, but that he has been avoiding and ignoring her. She added that she cannot work until May 28th, and decided to come to the media to try and get Audinett's attention.
We visited her at her home today.
As we told you before the break Brian Yellowman Audinett is accused of knocking down a woman and not paying her medical bills.
But Audinett flatly refutes this story. He came to our studio today and explained that, while Billary accused him of drinking, texting and driving, he wasn't, and that it was she who jumped in front of her car. He also told us that he has promised not just the $1,000, but to pay for all her medical bills as well. Audinett said that at first she agreed, but he feels that now, she is being "set up" by others to extort more money out of him. Here's how he put it.
