And, Maya Jemmott also weighed in on Jasmine Hartin's most recent comments to the press, declaring her hope for peace and closure for the Jemmott family in the wake of her guilty plea.
Jasmine Hartin, Plead Guilty to Manslaughter by Negligence

"I just want Henry's family to have peace now and I want this whole thing to be behind all of us, so we can heal."

"And then afterwards she says she did it for us, for our family, so that we could have closure, but did you though?"
Cherisse Halsall:
"Why do you think she did it?"

"Because it was easier, it was better, pleading guilty meant she as you said cooperated with the court. She gets a non-custodial sentence. She never sees a jail cell. Pleading not guilty means we have to go through a whole thing and she could possibly be put in a jail cell, and no one wants to be in a jail cell."
Cherisse Halsall:
"So based on your one interaction with Jasmine Hartin do you feel that she shows any remorse for your father's death?"

Maya Jemmott, Henry Jemmott's Eldest Daughter
"Honestly, I don't know, I don't know because our interaction was she talking to me, she apologizing, or anything of that sort."
Cherisse Halsall:
"That did not happen?"
Maya Jemmott, Henry Jemmott's Eldest Daughter
"Never, I have never spoken to her. I have only seen her do multiple interviews and do different things for different media both here and abroad and in that she I have heard she claims she has nightmares about what happened, she has, she didn't sleep very well and she still doesn't sleep very well and all those things it makes you want to be sorry for her but while I have empathy for her that empathy comes from me having sleepless nights, and me having nightmares, not about that moment but nightmares reiterating that my Dad will never ever ever ever come back."
We'll have more from Maya's interview tomorrow night along with breaking news coming out of the Hartin sentencing.
