A wild shooting in the west last night has left one man dead and two women injured. 25-year-old Wilmer Ordonez was at home yesterday in Camalote Village with a friend when he and his common-law wife got into an argument, causing her to leave.
Later that night, around 9, the two men heard a motorcycle going back and forth so they went to check. That's when they realized the two persons on the motorcycle were Ordonez's wife, 25-year-old Maria Guevara, and another man identified as Jose Reyes.
It was then that all hell broke loose, the Reyes allegedly injured all three victims, including Ordonez's sister, 24-year-old Luzbin Ordonez. Ordonez's friend, who saw the incident, told us what happened - he spoke in Spanish.

"We were sitting here and we saw a motorcycle pass and it came back again. Then he told me he's going for his flashlight. He went ahead. We saw there were people up there and I said don't go, don't go."

"How many people?"

"Two people. Yes, I know them but at that point, I couldn't tell you who they were until we got there. But in the meantime, I was telling him don't go there come here don't go, don't go. He didn't pay me any mind and he left. I was going behind him and when we'd almost arrived, I saw his wife."

"What's the name of his wife?"

"Maria, I don't know her last name. We were getting there when I saw the guy come Jose Reyes. He hit him three times with the tool and so Wilmer fell. That's when Maria went on top of him and started to wound him with the knife and everything and when I saw that I started to call this way to call for someone that could help me."
"When got there the other who came with me who came from here tried to grab her hand to take the knife here so he took it with his other hand and then the other sister got there and they separated them."
"And then the guy took something and hit her here. When we saw that Maria had fallen, we wanted to react but we couldn't because he had a gun. So he shot the third shot and that is when he received it in his back and when we saw that we began to run he started shooting at us and we fell to the floor and like that."
And the police are currently on the hunt for Reyes:

"Information is that there was an altercation between Wilmer Ordonez and a male person identified as Jose Reyes in the area which led to the shooting. Wilmer Ordonez was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Also injured in the shooting were Maria Guevara and Luzon Ordonez. They were treated at the hospital and remain there in a stable condition."
"The information we're getting is that this stems from a domestic dispute and at some point this person, Jose Reyes, arrived with a shotgun and fired shots towards the deceased and the other two females."
"All the information has that they know each other, we don't know if they had problems with each other before."
"He is not in custody, we are looking for him, a warrant has been issued for his arrest and we're asking for the public's assistance to give us information if they know his whereabouts."
Ordonez has one son.
