Another Daylight Shooting In City

A shooting at the corner of Pine Street and Vernon Street this morning injured 27 year old Jahleel Goodger. He was sitting on the stairs of his home talking with two other people when the gunman emerged from behind the structure and fired a single shot towards him. Goodger was hit in the lower back and rushed to the KHMH for treatment and underwent surgery. No one has been detained as yet.

We note the shooting happened just a hundred feet away from a police booth where a constant presence is maintained at the entrance to gang territory.
