"Crack cocaine, that is not your style."
Roy Bullitt Craig
"No, they find one piece. I can't fight them. You know, they find the one piece of thing over the fence, a piece of crack."
Reporter
"Undetermined among the crack cocaine, that's what you were charged with, right?"
Roy Bullitt Craig
"Yeah, five dollars a thing, I'm fine."
Reporter
"They charge you two hundred dollars?"
Roy Bullitt Craig
"Yeah."
Reporter
"So today you plead guilty to that charge?"
Roy Bullitt Craig
"I didnt plea guilty."
Reporter
"Why? You are telling me that they didnt find it on you. why would you take ownership of something that wasnt found on you?"
Roy Bullitt Craig
"Well, I had no choice. They were going to squeeze me."
Reporter
"What do you mean squeeze you?"
Roy Bullitt Craig
"Well, they were going to charge me everything that I have to pay now, and I saw that. So I make accommodation for to pay slowly, because they would have wanted me to pay all today or jail me. I don't want to go to jail, man. I'm 82 years old, and I'm not guilty of all these things. It's a monopoly."
In court, Craig pleaded guilty and asked the court for mercy knowing that he had 2 previous convictions for drug related offenses and he was also in debt to the court for over a thousand dollars.
He was fined $200 plus a $5.00 cost of court.
