The UDP National Party Council met on Saturday and voted overwhelmingly to remove its Belize Rural South Standard Bearer Jazelli Azueat. It has caused a huge divide in the UDP in San Pedro - but the UDP has bigger problems. The party is very divided. Audio of the NPC meeting has linked and you can hear Shyne Barrow and Tracy Panton arguing viciously:

Shyne Barrow, UDP Leader
"These people claim that they are never consulted. They are never given the opportunity to participate. And most importantly, they were not consulted on that statement. Can I finish? I didn't interrupt you. I didn't interrupt you. I did not interrupt you. I did not interrupt you. Can I finish, please?"

Tracy Panton
"Yes, you may."

Shyne Barrow, UDP Leader
"So it is important to understand that if we forgive Jazz, if we forgive Jazz, all this will do is embolden her because there's an attitude that she has and some have out there that they live in a different world from the rest of the UDP and they can do what they want."

"And then the reason that is dangerous, and everybody needs to understand this, Jazz has a personal relationship with someone that works for Sean Feinstein. And so you need to disclose that."

Tracy Panton
"That is off the limit, party leader. That is off limit."
