Tonight a policeman is under interdiction after he was accused of sexually assaulting a female police officer while on duty.
38 year old PC Mauricio Cobb was today arraigned on a single count of sexual assault upon a female police officer where he pleaded not guilty. The victim claims that on Monday at 4:00 pm, they were on duty when he put his hand in her pants and tried to fondle her, but she stopped him. She said he appeared to be under the influence.
In court, Cobb pleaded not guilty and was offered bail of $1,000 dollars which he met. HIs next court date is November 6, 2023. Police at the courthouse did everything they could today to shield his identity.
The victim is a 33-year-old police officer - who has known Cobb for the past ten months. She says they were on a Police issued motorcycle with him driving, but she noticed that he appeared drunk which is when she offered to drive the motorcycle - which is when he assaulted her.
