On Saturday we reported that a 9mm Glock was found in a ziplock bag submerged in water inside the Marion Jones compound where the Street Fete was being held. The gun was taken into police custody where checks were made to the serial number. As it turns out the gun has an owner and police were able to trace the origins of the weapon. ACP Hilberto Romero told us more today.

"The issue with that firearm is that we have identified that it had been reported lost. It belonged to someone and somehow it fell in that area. So that is not a case where someone had taken an unlicensed firearm there."

"We have already identified who the owner is and that is the report we got that he lost the firarm at that event."

Romero says that the gun license can only be revoked based on certain circumstances.
