A bloody chopping in Independence village injured two people on Saturday evening. They are 31-year-old Efren Torres and 31 year old Chaka Robert Foreman. The incident stemmed from a misunderstanding between Torres and another individual known as "Cadle." After things escalated, Foreman intervened on behalf of Cadle, only to be pursued relentlessly into a gas station by his attackers, who forced their way into the Mini mart and proceeded to savagely assault him with multiple machetes. The entire ugly ordeal was captured on surveillance video. We warn you it is graphic. ACP Hilberto Romero gave us more details today.
