BDF Brawl Leads To Bitten Ear

A brawl between two soldiers yesterday at the Belize Defense Force's Fairweather Camp in Toledo resulted in a soldier being maimed by his colleague.

The two soldiers are said to have gotten into a heated confrontation, which escalated into an all out brawl, and that is when one soldier bit off the other soldier's ear.

While the identities of both officers have not yet been revealed, we were informed by a colonel in the force that the victim is stable and doing well, and they have launched an internal investigation into the incident. He says disciplinary measures will definitely follow and on a parallel track the police are also investigating.
