Waitress Waiting To Be Deported

Tonight, A 25 year old Waitress is behind bars awaiting deportation after she entered Belize illegally 8 months ago.

25 year old Kirian Menjivar was traveling on the bus, when they were pulled over at a checkpoint and she failed to display proof of citizenship. Menjivar was living on Euphrates Avenue, and was working at Foxy's bar.

She appeared unrepresented in court today before magistrate Mannon Dennison and pleaded guilty to failing to present herself to an Immigration Officer upon arrival.

She was fined $1,000 which her relatives paid immediately. The magistrate also issued a removal order and so Menjivar will spend the next few days in prison until she is deported.
