There was another home invasion in the Orange Walk district yesterday morning. It happened in the village of Carmelita just after 5:00am where a resident was chased and attacked inside his home by a fellow villager.

It's the third rural home invasion in less than a week and while the murder rate remains low, these events can shake a community's sense of security. That's what the former UDP police minister said at a press conference today where he dug into the most recent crimes that have occurred back to back for the month of January
