A week ago, 30-year-old Margaret Cleland was found dead on the roadside in Willows Bank. Her 18-month-old baby was discovered in a pond in the back of their yard, alive but scared. Blood was splattered over their door and their outdoor bathing area. A neighbor said it was hard to tell what happened to Cleland, since there was so much blood.
Since then, police have discovered how Cleland was killed. A postmortem exam revealed that her murderer stabbed her several times.
Police have still not made any arrests in this case.
