But, whatever the outcome, Burns is a UDP lifer, and we're sure she'll be there on nomination day - which has been set for WEDNESDAY, 21st February 2024 from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. That is, as per law, two weeks before the March 6th municipal elections.
Typically, political parties use nomination day as a way to show voters their battle-readiness and their popular support - while die hard supporters use it as a chance to "come-up" - the best of them get to march with one political party in the morning, and the other in the afternoon.
