Security Guard's Glock Stolen In San Ignacio

There's another licensed gun in the hands of criminals tonight, after they robbed a security guard last night.

Around 7:00, security guard Alumberto Ack was on duty at Tim's Shop on Bullet Tree Road in San Ignacio when he was robbed of his company issued firearm. The 20 year old employee of Technical Security Company was standing at the entrance of the store when a man wearing a motorcycle helmet approached him and pointed what a pistol to his face and demanded he hand over his company issued 9mm Glock containing 12 live rounds. Fearing for his life, Ack compiled and the assailant then made his escape with the weapon in hand.
