A fatal stabbing in the village of Biscayne, has left a family traumatized, and a young infant fatherless, after the victim was viciously stabbed - and his brother in law is a suspect.
Jomarie Lanza spoke with the grieving mother in law today:
Somewhere along mile 26 of this dark highway last night, a pair of brothers-in-law sealed their fate in bloodshed, after one of them turned on the other in a brutal stabbing. The victim, 19 year old Levan Aldana, a fisherman, was staying in this home, while visiting his daughter. And it's inside this same house he sought refuge in the night he was stabbed.

"Levan and my next son in law were drinking. My son in law called Levan out of the room and told him to come and then they went into the room to drink."
That was at 6:30. Three hours later there was a desperate banging at the door.:

"Like 5 mins after she heard a banging on the door and Levan said open this fucking door girl. So she opened the door and I was in my room when I heard my daughter scream and she said Mom Levan guts is out of his belly. When I came out I opened the door and he said, Ms Delvo close the fucking door because they will come and kill me he said they are coming to kill me. So I closed back the door then after that I heard a knock and it was my daughter. She said mom it's me and so I let her in. I was opening the windows looking for the police and then he went on the ground. My daughter video called his mom and lifted up his shirt…….. all his intestines were out. He had a wound here and here and here. I think from defense and we asked him who did it to him and he didn't want to say he didn't want to talk so my daughter told him dead man can't carry any tail so you need to tell the police what happened to you who did it to you and so he gave us the person name."
And though Levan managed to name his killer, while being ferried off to the KHMH, he took his last breath in the back of a police mobile, just after they passed Eruption nightclub. But what triggered the brutal attack? Baldwin says that the family is still in shock at how quickly things transpired that night.

"That's the thing, nothing triggered it. Nothing nothing."

"Did he say?"

"He didn't say anything because he didn't want to talk he didn't want to talk. All he said was the persons name and that was it."
"My son in law because it's two of my son in laws. Two of my son in laws that's why it hurts because three of my grand kids are without a father. One now will be in jail and the next one in the burying ground. So what can I say. The one that did it his personality, when he drink he's very aggressive that's why I tell them I don't want no drinking in the house. No drinking. I don't drink with them again I stopped for the same reason because I don't want anyone to chance me. Cause when I drink I go to sleep."
But moments before things had taken a turn, a neighbor told us today that the two brother in laws had paid him a visit. And from what he observed they were already drunk

"He arrived here about 18 past 10 last night he and the young man and then I told them I am tired and sleepy so I don't want to stay up. So that said alright because they were already drunk so I told them you guys are already drunk go home and rest. And he said boss don't you have a drink for me? I told him yes but it's frozen. So he said you must have something and I remembered yes I have a beer in the refrigerator so I gave him the beer. He gave the young guy the beer and he opened it. So he took a sip and gave him back and I told him I won't stay up because I have to go to work in the morning so I went back into my kitchen because I was eating but when I went back I heard them talking about going to the pig farm at the back and I told him what are you going to go and do back there? Back there has nothing. So I went back inside again when I noticed, because this light is a motion sensor light, I saw it come on so when I looked they locked back my gate and left so I came and locked my gate and then about 45 mins after that his wife called me and asked me where he was and I said I don't know he already left. And she told me he stabbed and chopped up the guy and I said oh my god and they said it's here but that didn't happen here."
Somewhere between the two houses things took a turn for the worst between Levan and his brother in law. While no one knows what may have been said or done to trigger the stabbing, this mother knows for sure that her daughter never enabled either of her sons in law to harm Levan.

"I just don't want anybody the blame my daughter and say my daughter set it up because my daughter didn't set it up. Because right now my daughter is very traumatized and they have on Facebook rumors are going around the spread that how my daughter set it up. My daughter would never set up nobody to kill Levan especially his brother in law."
Levan leaves behind a 7 month old daughter
