More than a week has gone by since 57 year old Corozal resident Tedoro Pacheco was last seen by his family. His common law wife told police that he left to do taxi runs in his gold Toyota car on January 31st and has not been seen or heard from since. Today the Commissioner gave us an update on the search for the missing man. He says that they have even extended their search to outside of Corozal town.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"The police have been working diligently with the family to conduct searches in and around Corozal and Orange Walk. I think on one occasion the search went all the way down south because there was some information that the taxi man may have been down south."
"But so far we have not been able to obtain any credible information in terms of the whereabouts of that individual. And I would like to ask the public that if they have any information that may be able to assist the police in locating the individual, to please feel free to call the 911 number or the 922 tips number and provide the information."
