And while the attorney's are wrapped up in this procedure, Elrington also shared with us that due to today's court proceedings she had to miss an important meeting with the criminal justice board. She told us more.

"The Criminal Justice Board, as you all know, we're trying to look at how we make the criminal justice system in Belize better. So at the last meeting of the Criminal Justice Board we were all put into sub-committees, all the members of the board were put in the sub-committees to actually work on our particular area."
"The meeting that I was supposed to be a part of today had to do with National Forensic Science Service. Mr. Cho was one of the co-chairs along with two justices of the High Court and we were supposed to be looking at the actual, the National Forensic Science Service and how it relates to the criminal justice system. What are the difficulties that we all face and how is it that can make it better. So that was the main thing that I was supposed attend this afternoon."
