Safe Easter On The Seas

And over the Easter holiday, the Coast Guard was on the alert, especially since a lot more Belizeans would be on the seas. But it was a relatively safe holiday, with one minor rescue mission. Admiral Bennett told us more.

"We had one search and rescue, we were called out somewhere between St George's Caye and Belize City where an individual lost power on board his vessel. It wasn't a major case, the individual was well safe onboard his vessel, we went out, we located him and we towed him into Belize City. Other than that we had no major incident out at sea."
