It's called the Laboratory Information Management System, known as LIMS - and one year after the project was first launched, it's now fully functional at Belize's National Forensic Science Service.
Expert says it will enable investigators and forensic technicians to capture "multi-dimensional data".

The system is an initiative of the InfoSegura project, which directs assistance to institutions in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic.
