Earlier in the news, we told you about a shooting that took the life of a man in the north. But that wasn't the only murder this weekend. In Santa Cruz Village, Stann Creek, 22-year-old Eladio Ramos was killed by his own brother who was wielding an unlicensed gun. According to ACP Romero, it was a fight that led to the shooting.

"On Sunday the 26th day of May 2024, police responded to a report at the Independence Polyclinic. Upon the arrival, they saw the lifeless body of Eladio Ramos and he was seen with a gunshot injury. Investigation revealed that Eladio Ramos had a fight with his brother who got a shotgun and fired the fatal shot towards him. Selvin Ramos is in custody while statements are being recording and this matter will be sent to the DPP for directives."
