And the other 67 year old murder victim from yesterday is 67-year-old Benito Cal. Tonight, his family is shocked and confused after he was found dead in Roaring Creek. Cal had been murdered, and the killer bludgeoned his face. But as far as anyone knew, Cal was a kind elderly man with no enemies. So who would want him dead? Courtney Menzies went west to speak with his family. Here is her story.

The family of 67-year-old Benito Cal was distraught to find his bloodied body lying in the Roaring Creek Cemetery.

Cal was an employee at Santander and visited his granddaughter every day. Nothing seemed unusual when he left her house Wednesday evening.

But her husband was the one who found his body the next morning.

"When I was going to work, my neighbors told me, hurry run, come check this, I think the man dead. I asked him, which man? Somebody right there by the tomb, he said. then I went and I noticed the bike. And when I found out it was my gramps and immediately I was shocked. I didn't even want to go to work again because, man, I couldn't believe it, who would kill him? First thing I thought was who would kill him? It's so sad to see him on the ground like that. Immediately I called my wife because he was my wife's grandpa and from then we moved forward and called the police and whatnot."

"My wife would hear from him or see him everyday because he's a cool old man, anytime he sees us he would always bring something for my wife, but in my case, because I work, he would even take stuff for me at work. i brought this for you, I brought this for you. And I didn't expect for him to go like that."

It was especially shocking because, according to him, Cal's kindness didn't just stop with family members.

"He helps anybody and, like I tell you, I don't see how or why it happened to him like that but honestly if anybody, anything, I know he would offer help, whether physically or financially, he would."

"We miss Mr Benito, he's a great guy and I still can't believe why or how that happened to him but I just hope that justice is served, I don't really have much to say but Mr Benito Cal was a good person, not only to me, but from what I understand, they told me the best of him and it is true that Mr Benito is a good man. I just can't see why it has to be that way."

But this couple isn't in communication with any of Cal's other relatives, and now they're calling out to them for assistance.

Voice of: Relative of Deceased
"I want this message to go out there and let the kids come out because I know he has kids and I know he has brothers and sisters so I just would really appreciate if all those people look into this matter and find out and take over the body because somebody got to do it, and if there's nobody else, of course I'll pay respect to Mr Cal, he was a great man."
