He is accused of breaking into a home with the intent to rape an 11 year old girl - and in the process he knocked out her grandparents who were in the home. Well, tonight, Leon Lamb has been remanded for it after he was denied bail today.

He pleaded with the Magistrate today, saying it was just an allegation and asking her not to put him on remand saying that they will put him in the hole. Lamb added that he just came off serving an 11 month sentence in the prison.

The police prosecutor argued that Lamb should not be granted bail becausehe has two pending cases, one before the High Court for rape; and one at the Lower Court for sexual assault. The Prosecutor further submitted that, in both sex cases, part of Lamb's bail was that he was not to be arrested and charged with any other offenses whilst out on bail.

According to the Prosecutor, Lamb's criminal record shows he has six previous sex offenses before the court and that he has been convicted before for sexual assault.

For his part, Lamb pleaded not guilty to one count of burglary with intent to rape an 11-year-old girl; one count of wounding upon the minor; another count of wounding upon the minor's grand mother and one count of harm upon the minors grand father. v The Chief Magistrate in denying Lamb bail noted that he does not honor bail conditions and the allegations show that he is a threat to society.
