Belize River Valley Villager Charged for Rape of 5 Year Old Boy

21-year-old, Keon Belisle - a maintenance worker from a village in the River Valley - appeared In court where he was read a single charge of raping a 5 year old boy.

He allegedly forced the child to perform oral sex on him.

The Senior Magistrate explained to Belisle that the charge of rape of child is an indictable offence so no plea can be taken. Also, due to the nature of the offense, the lower court could not grant him bail and so he was remanded to prison until September 25, 2025.
