But somehow costume designers for the Miss Universe Belize Pageant missed all three. And tonight, that pageant is managing another costume controversy - the kind that seems to happen every year. And while the dispute is usually over creative choices - this time it's about the likely use of "AI."
After the three top sketches were posted on the committee's official facebook page, they were targeted by the varied slings and arrows of social media. Jomarie Lanza has all sides of a controversy over creativity, but also keel billed toucans:
