Cops Catch Pistol On Placencia Peninsula

A wanted man was detained today on the Placencia main road. Police stopped a Buick SUV and searched the 28 year old driver from Seine Bight Village and his passenger where nothing was found.

However, police noted that the insurance and license sticker had expired. Police impounded the vehicle and detained the two men inside. When they made a thorough search they found an unlicensed 9mm pistol containing seven live rounds.

No charge has been brought yet.
