The Deputy Chief Transport Officer, Peter Williams had a fender bender today - and, unlucky for him, it happened right in front of this media house. At around 3:20, Williams was crossing Albert Street from one side of Dean Street to the other when he had a collision with an oncoming motorcycle. Williams was patient at the stop sign, allowing a vehicle and a motorcycle to pass, but then he came out just as a delivery man carrying food was speeding down Albert Street. And while he may have been speeding, he did have the right of way. We sent the video to Transport CEO Chester Williams who didn't take up for his deputy chief. He told us the transport vehicle is clearly at fault even though the motorcycle driver was speeding.
