Tonight, a Lord's Bank mother is preparing to bury her 25 year old son after he was found dead yesterday in Ladyville. Cariel Bainton says her son Joshua had sensed his own impending death and the premonition had haunted him. Here's what she told Clifford Mejia:

"I will not say that he was a saint. He was a good person and he was a bad person. I will not say a bad person, but as I said, hanging out with friends that you doesn't know soh you look out for the unexpected things."
And she says, her 25 year old son had a premonition:
Cariel Bainton, Mother of Joshua Martells "He always tell me, he seh Mommy one day they wah kill me. And I di tell ah inside the day, I tell ah Joshua weh da di problem? He said mommy, one day they gwen kill. Me. I told him I said, I noh wah hear those negative vibes, because I just come from work. So I told him, like this, he said, you will buy a casket for me, like that. So I told him, ooh you di feel something."
And on Monday august 5th, he left home- that was one week before his decomposed body was found:

"Through the back wah vehicle was waiting for him. So I told him boy don't you see you're walking in this swamp? But he was on a haste."
"That was the last time I saw my son."
She thought he was working at the Caye until police came looking for her yesterday:

"He said I want you to go identify a body. I tell him I'm not going. That was a no."
"I tell him my son is out at caye. I tell him I'm not going. He said you have to go miss, because he is already decomposed, but certain things maybe you know that is on him."
"I don't know maybe if johncrow must have eaten the body or something like that. When they lift up the chain from his neck, I recognized that was him. That was what broke down the family, but I would want justice because he is a human being. You don't have to kill somebody like that."
"But as I get to my closure I just want to set my son down and bury my son in peace. As I said we are all parents and we all go through this."
"I would want all the mothers know out there that all of us are human beings and we could raise our children the right and proper way, but we don't know what they are doing behind our backs."
Reports tell us that the murder was likely gang related.
