Yesterday, a man broke into a vehicle belonging to Plus TV Journalist Ljay Wade. The man reportedly stole his wallet along with some chargers and a pair of AirPods. But immediately after he stole that wallet, he used Wade's credit card to rack up $300 worth of charges at various grocery stores. He's seen here shopping in an orange t-shirt. The man was caught on surveillance footage at these stores - at one point even presenting Wade's social security card, telling the cashier that Wade sent him with the cards to make the purchases.
While Wade was able to close the credit card, Belize Bank reportedly informed him that he would need to present a police report to start the process towards reimbursement.
Wade told us that the police went to the suspect's address, but he escaped and at this point, they are still looking for him.
