We all know about Joseph Budna and Sebastian Pop, two Belizeans abducted from Belize and handed over to Guatemalan police. But, last night news emerged of a Belizean arrested in Guatemala for a murder there.
Guatemalan media reports that an intense police chase ended with the capture of three men accused of taking part in an armed attack that claimed the life of 45-year-old Joel David Rojas.
Guatemalan police arrested three men, a pair of brothers and a Belizean national named Ervin Noel Morales, who were identified by relatives of the victim. According to media reports, shortly before the chase, the suspects allegedly opened fire on Rojas, killing him on the spot.
