Murder Suspect Deported From US Will Face Charges

A man wanted for murder has been returned to Belize by the US Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Bernard Talbert who was wanted by police was returned to Belize today and detained. He will be charged for murder.

In March of 2024, Steven Jorgensen was sleeping at home on Faber's Road when his brother-in-law showed up with a gun and threatened his family. Those threats manifested into reality when a single gunshot was fired, but Jorgensen took the bullet for his family.
