Last week we told you that the former Senator and principal of Corazon Creek High School, 39 year old Macario Coy was accused of sexually assaulting a teacher. Police gave us an update on his charges today:

"On Friday, 21st November 2025, police in Punta Gorda formally arrested and charged Macario Coy, a Belizean and principal of Punta Gorda, for the offense of sexual assault. The arrest of Mr. Coy follows an investigation which commence on 7th November 2025, when a female reported that whilst Mr. Coy was at her residence, he touched her inappropriately."
