Police today said it was three gunmen and they were captured on the police surveillance cameras.

"Police are investigating the murder of 22 year old Daniel Tillett, which occurred on Saturday, 22nd November 2025 at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Antelope Street Extension, Belize City. This investigation commenced on the mentioned dates and time when officers that were conducting patrols in the general vicinity heard several shots being fired. The scene of the shooting was established and the responding officers observed the apparent lifeless body of Tillet, which exhibited gunshot wounds. Initial investigations revealed that Tillett was traveling on a motorcycle on Antelope Street from the direction of."
"Marlene Leslie street, heading towards Hilda Foreman street, when three male persons, each armed with a firearm, exited a yard on Antelope Street extension and fired several shots to him, which resulted in his fatal injury. The three male persons then made good their escape onto Ruben Morales Street in that area. The scene was processed and the body was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where it now awaits a postmortem examination. A police camera in the area was able to capture the entire incident, and the video footage is now being carefully reviewed by the investigators with a view to finding the persons responsible for this murder. Tillet is known to police having been previously charged for the 2021 murder of Deron Hernandez."

More than a dozen expended shells were found on the scene.
