Last night we reported on Eterio Castillo, known as "DJ Cas" who we said was wanted for questioning by Benque Viejo police for accused of theft of over 30,000 dollars in sales receipts from his former employer Vega's Distributors. The report was made by Assistant General Manager Ian Vega but tonight Cas is firing back stating that he called the Benque station and is not wanted. He adds that despite a comment on our post made by a Facebook account bearing his name, he's not out of the country. He said that's a fake Facebook account where someone has stolen his identity.
But, to the facts of the case, Castillo agrees that he did sign a document on February fifth with his former employer agreeing that he received monies from sales on the company's behalf and never turned in those receipts. But he says that he did undertake to repay the 32 thousand dollars - but he believes his former employer was being unreasonable in expecting him to pay half up front.
We confirmed that Vega's has filed an official report and requested court action.
