33 year old Belizean Benigno Loria has reportedly been apprehended by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations.
Unconfirmed reports on the internet say that Loria is being linked as a member of the notorious Jalisco New Generation Cartel, which is the one formerly headed by Nemesio Oseguero Cervantez - known as "El Mencho."
Loria entered the US in 2023 after an attempt was made on his life in the Pueblo Viejo ferry of Corozal where there was a wild shootout and one man was killed. The then commissioner of Police said the shooting was drug related.
We reached out to the CEO at the Ministry of Home Affairs today who stated that he has not received any report from Interpol as yet.
Commissioner Richard Rosado confirmed that on February 17th, Loria was detained in Houston.
