A cash reward of ten thousand Belize dollars is now being offered as the family of missing Deborah Arthurs grows increasingly desperate for answers. The 28 year old call center employee and mother of one has been missing since Friday, March twenty seventh. Arthurs was last seen at around one in the afternoon in front of La Popular Bakery in Belize City, where witnesses reported seeing her entering a silver Chevy Equinox shortly before she disappeared. Since then, Arthurs has not answered her phone and has also failed to report to work, something relatives say is completely out of character. Today, her aunt via a Facebook post said: "It has been six days since my niece, Bree Arthurs, went missing in Belize City. We urgently request that anyone with information regarding her whereabouts come forward. We acknowledge that witnesses in Belize may have concerns about protection, but we urge you to assist us in any way possible during this critical time. Unfortunately, at this moment, I lack confidence in the police system. I am convinced that somebody out there has information." The family says that while they continue to search for answers, they fear the worst and are simply hoping to find Arthurs and get the closure they need.
