She's been missing 11 days and tonight the family of Deborah "Bree" Arthurs has still not gotten any sign of hope. Arthurs was last seen on Friday March 27th in Belize City. Since then, Arthurs' family has conducted prayer vigils and search parties to which they but have not found any clues.

There's reason for grave concern and today, we probed the police for more information.

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"The disappearance is certainly still a matter that is under investigation as well as the shooting of Mr. Clare. We have heard, as the media has as well, the indication of there being some nexus between the two incidents and they are being explored to the fullest possibility that it can be explored."

Reporter
"What is the current status of the search?"

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"In terms of what?"

Reporter
"Is she being actively searched for? Are police assisting and in what areas are they assisting the family?"

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"What I've been advised of is that there have been a number of searches that have been conducted both in Belize city or in the Belize District as well as in the Cayo district."

"We have identified a vehicle that we believe is an of interest to the investigation."

Reporter
"Concerns for her wellbeing."

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"Well the concerns are based off the fact that she has not communicated with any family member to our knowledge and we are hopeful that we will be able to bring about some resolution for the family in whatever way that comes out to be."

Reporter
"But are there concerns because her disappearance has been anecdotally linked to criminal elements, so for example sometimes people just leave whatever, they have other things to go and deal with in life and they leave their home and then sometimes persons are taken away from their family under duress, under threats of violence. Do you believe it is the former or the latter?"

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"As I stated, the information that we have received are being pursued and the investigation remains open and I will not form any speculation as to what you have invited me to do."

Reporter
"Is it being looked at as a crime?"

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"It is being investigated as a disappearance, it is concerning that she has not reached out to any family member so efforts are being made, no stone is left unturned to ascertain the whereabouts of the individual."

Reporter
"Did she have any known involvement with the shooting victim Mr.Claire, from what investigators know so far?"

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"The information that has been disclosed is the extent to which the department wishes to disclose, the media is free to speak to relatives of Miss Arthurs to see if they can ascertain that information."

Reporter
"Has Mr. Clare or his brother or anyone affiliated with him been questioned?"

ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"As I stated Mr. Vasquez, the information that has been disclosed is the extent which the department wishes to to disclose."

Arthurs is the mother of one son. Faring for their safety, her family has declined to speak on camera.
