Police Constable Louis Pascasio is no stranger to the news and tonight he is once again making it as he is wanted by his own colleagues at the Belize Police Department.
Over the weekend, Pascasio who is also a police officer was arrested in the Puma Gas station parking lot on Freetown Road which led to a verbal and physical confrontation between him and the officers. Police say that he first assaulted the officer.
ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"As it relates to the inquiry pertaining to Mr. Pascasio, I spoke with one of the OCs in Eastern Division and what he just advised me just a short while ago is that yes, in fact an incident occurred and an investigation was triggered and that investigation has resulted in charges being prepared for Mr. Pascasio in relation to aggravated assault and wounding as a consequence of a report made by a police officer."
Reporter
"Would you be able to confirm if he was under the influence when that happened?"
ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer
"No, I would not. But I believe the matter was captured on camera because it happened in front of the gas station and that has been viewed and that is what guided police's action in terms of the charges that have been prepared."
