The Dorothy Menzies Child Care Center today got some much needed play equipment for the children living there. As part of their annual visit to Belize, this morning Christians from Fort Worth Texas presented playground equipment to the Child Care facility. John Cornelso of the Christ Chapel Bible Church in Texas told us about the donation.

“We came here last year and we were really moved by the children. Our hearts went out to them and we wanted to come back and kind of bring something that could stay here when we go back to the States and they can enjoy year round.”

“The children have always been shot changed because yes we have swings and we had a slide but this whole playground is something that I can think nobody in Belize has. For the children to be first to have something like this...I believe we are on top and they very happy.”

“We have already been talking about what we would like to do next year and possibly come and do something else. We really would like to help as much we can.”

“I would like to thank God that this institution has seen a lot of church members coming in and trying to assist us and Mr. John Cornelso is just one of the many people that come in and do so much for us here at the center. I am not surprised that they come in and do things like this for us but we wish them all the best and we are very very happy for this playground.”
