He's a Belize City institution and tonight, the man known as Megan is dead. Wilfred Alfred Meighan better known as Megan or Meegie died yesterday at 85 years old. Meighan is known for his legendary Megan Beans which he sold on Albert Street as a late night treat for 20 years. He retired 15 years ago, and relatives took over the business.
