Dejon Tucker is an English teacher in Roatan Honduras but he is a singer at heart. And that is why he spent the first few days of his Christmas vacation in a music studio in Honduras recording a Christmas album. It is a 12 track disc called “Dejon”s Favourite Christmas Specials.” He stopped by our studio today and told us all about the CD.

“It is collection of 12 amazing songs that the Belizean people really need to hear. I have a mixture in there from reggae to soca and even traditional bruk down in there. I even have ‘good maaning miss lady’ so I would really like the Belizean people to come out and experience this. If you get this CD it will help to add Christmas cheer.
Many people have said to me you should record something and I’ve been thinking but I’ve always said if I will record something first I want it to be something Christmas because I love the Christmas season and I wanted to release something Christmas first.
This will spread a little Christmas cheer here and there and it adds to the Christmas, it makes everything feel a little bit more happy and jovial and I just the Christmas feeling; it is just sweet and nice and people love that, people love enjoyment. Its really fun to listen to, I didn’t know it was going to be so much fun making the CD until it was finished and I really enjoyed it and I want to share it with the Belizean public and so I encourage you to come out and support me and support the CD as well.”
