At the top of the news, we showed you the major news items coming out of our extended interview with the Police Commissioner. Well, that press encounter happened at midday today in Cotton Tree Village. That's where the police teamed up with Benny's and Area Representative for Cayo South, Julius Espat, to bring a little Christmas Cheer to needy residents.

The organizers pooled their resources so that 500 plates of food could be prepared and handed out to villagers. Here's what they told us about this donation:

The commissioner estimated that the cost for this donation was just over $5,000. All elements of the meal were freshly prepared this morning.
