Remembering The Father

And the government took a small break from fighting against the pandemic to pay homage to Belize's first premier and Prime Minister, Father of the Nation, George Price. Friday would have been George Price's 102nd birthday, and while he is no longer here to celebrate it, the PUP ensured that the annual wreath laying ceremony lived on. Several members were present at the ceremony, including the DPM who, in the absence of the PM, gave a speech. Here is a snippet.

The ceremony took place at George Price's grave at the Lord Ridge Cemetery.
