Last week Thursday we told you about the Victoria street shooting of musician and footballer John King, we also introduced you to his music, and the music video for his song "Cursed", a tune about the streets and how difficult it is to leave that life behind.
And tonight King along with fellow artist J.MONIE brings us another video, this one for their song "Hold On", it's filmed from King's hospital bed and carries a message of hope to those the artists call "ghetto youths" telling them to keep their heads up and to never give up on their dreams.
Cherisse Halsall spoke to King's singing partner via zoom this afternoon to get the low down on the video and the resilience shown by the singer despite his injuries.
As we told you, we last saw J.MONIE back in February when the cops picked him up for allegedly breaking Covid regulations while filming a music video.
