The Co-chair of the National September Celebrations also discussed 2 other September Celebrations projects that fall under next month's festivities. Those are a mural project for all 6 districts countrywide, and an initiative to encourage the replanting of trees in Belize.
Here's what she had to say about both September events:

"I just want to touch on a couple of other things from the National September Celebrations that are activities happening now, that I believe the media should be aware of, and that is the mural, Art is the Answer or Belize at 40 through the artists. This is a mural project that we hope to have in every district. Most of you have seen updates from Belmopan. You've seen them posting their mural project. Every district is supposed to have that. We've launched it. They're supposed to start working on it along with the National Institute of Culture and History. We're hoping to have a mural in every district by September being launched, and we also have the planting of trees, Belize at 40, Culture and Environment, planting of 40 trees in every district. These are 3 activities that have been jumpstarted and have already been started in the process of planning for September Celebrations."
