Third Wave Surging: 3 Covid Deaths in 24 Hours

Tonight, 3 more Belizeans have died due to complications caused by COVID-19, bringing the country's total number of deaths to 344.

The 1 man and two women dead in 24 hours, suggests a trend returning to the number of Covid casualties seen daily the height of last year's pandemic spike.

But that's not the only bad news, there's also the fact that the Ministry of Health today confirmed 94 new cases countrywide from 1,341 tests.

The situation is especially dire in the Belize district which is reporting 31 of those cases and the Cayo district which reports 21.

And tonight as the Ministry begins investigation on 264 new potential cases, 6 more COVID patients find themselves in the COVID ICU.
