It's Coronation Eve and while the world waits with bated breath on what will be the Uk's largest show of royal pageantry in two generations, Belizeans are still undecided if they're up to the required 5 AM Saturday morning wake up that would be needed to watch.

But if you ask our Prime Minister he won't be dusting off the Union Jack for the watch party. This week he was quoted as saying that we are just too far from the UK for this coronation to have any impact.

Well, we wanted to test the PM's perspective and tonight I'm taking a deep dive into what Belizeans think about King Charles, the global event that is his coronation, and whether becoming a republic is in our immediate future. Here's more:

A Press release tonight from Belize's High Commission in London highlights the participation of Belizeans in the coronation as those who have made a quote: " historical and cultural contributions to UK society and the wider Commonwealth."

Those Belizeans include pianist and composer Francis Reneau, Alfredo Thompson the Executive Director of People and Culture at the Royal United Hospitals, and Cameron Gegg, a finance professional in hospitality and leisure real estate.

Also present will be four BDF soldiers. Kimberly Garcia, Crisantos Ba, Luis Gabourel, and Jorge Teul.
