Sprite B-Ball Stars

And while loyal royal watchers get ready to see the coronation, those basketball lovers are gearing up for the annual Sprite Digi Youth Basketball Tournament. This year though, it's a little more special since it's the first time the tournament is being held in honor of William Dawson. Dawson was no stranger to at-risk youths as he did his best to mentor them. His goal was peace all across Belize, and though he passed away, the Leadership Intervention Unit is continuing his work. Today, the tournament kicked off with words of remembrance for the priest of peace in the streets.

The tournament consists of 24 teams and will last for 6 months.
