Tonight in St Paul Minnesota, final preparations are being made for the opening of an exhibit named, Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed. Now, if that name sounds familiar, it should. That's because exactly 10 years ago - the same show featuring mostly Belizean artifacts opened in the same city.

And starting tomorrow, it is completing the circle it started all those years ago. Since late 2013, the exhibit has been to Denver, Boston, San Diego, San Antonio, Dallas,

Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, Hartford Connecticut, Atlanta, Georgia and now, back to Minnesota. During those travels millions of eyeballs have seen it - and 7News was among the first. Back in December of 2013, Jules Vasquez and Codie Noralez traveled to Saint Paul to see the show. We bring back that story from a cold corner of the archive tonight.

The show was originally scheduled to travel for three years, but with the NICH's consent and loan fees being paid, it has continued for 10. The show is not presently "booked for any other venues".
