Since its opening at the start of this school year, the Itz'at STEAM Academy has been getting good feedback, according to the Minister of Education.
Located inside the ITVET compound - the institution is a first of its kind, providing education in Science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. But, it's a new model and it takes time to catch on: Fonseca says that he anticipates higher student intake in the next school year.

"I invite you. I encourage you to follow them on social media or Facebook page the ETSAT STEAM academy. It's incredible work. As I said we have 70 students enrolled they've gotten off I think to s great start the first two months and students are enthusiastic about the programmes they are engaged in it's a new approach to education. So you know it's fantastic and if you look at the social media you'll see all the activities that they are doing on a daily basis so you know I think it's a great great start and I'm very excited about the future of that institution and you know we have to get ready for a huge enrollment coming next year because so many parents have already said wow I wish we had enrolled this year but we certainly want to do so next year."
